Ashley is great with children adults alike. She is well trained, trustworthy, and like you can see; safe to work closely with. She is one of our older animals, and has a degenerative conditon that affects one of her ankles. Looking to take it easy, animal therapy will be a good home for her. This also provides opportunities for children with their own health struggles not only to see that mirrored in the animals, but to see that success and good quality of life are still possible.
Aviendha is a calm and gentle natured animal. She is very patient, and has the ability to be brushed from ears to tail without much reaction. This is great for teaching the importance of physcially caring for those in need, and can help us look outward. She is fairly well trained, and will be a great animal to teach the importance of consistent work to reach a desired result.
Donny is another one of our older animals, and this shows in his personality. He is calm and very patient with the elderly and children. He can be easily haltered and welcomes interaction with people...something that cannot be said for all animals. He is the alpha of the herd, and demands respect from the other male animals, sometimes resulting in agressive behaviors. Although counterintuitive, this is a great thing to observe in a safe setting. Sometimes our own behaviors need to be mirrored for us to understand change is necessary.
